Welcome. If you're new here, be sure to subscribe to Ghost Hunting Secrets for free ghost hunting tips, videos, haunted locations, and other goodies. Thanks for visiting!

Last year, Frank captured an interesting ectoplasm photo from a stone mill.  Here are some of Frank's newer orb & mist photos from a cemetery in Butler County, Pennsylvania.  Frank writes: "Thought you might find these pictures interesting. They came from a cemetary in Butler Co., PA. We also have EVP's of a little girl [who] said her name is Gertrude."

Speaking of cemeteries, have you visited your local cemetery yet?  Most cemeteries have some kind of paranormal activity, and they are great places to explore because you don't have to worry about getting permission to investigate, dealing with frightened or upset homeowners, getting release forms signed, etc.  Consider visiting your local cemetery and see what you discover.

I was looking at the fourth picture and the mist lump looks sort of like a face. A smiling face if you look closely. Did anyone else notice that? I find it eerily creepy, but awesome all the same.

I took pics from the same cemetery. I have orb and mist pics just like this. On the one if you zoom in under a big orb that's above one of the graves you can see a child's face staring up at me! I'd be happy to share if anyone's interested.

Orbs are usually dust, bugs, etc. They are hard to prove otherwise. I'd check with other ppl in the area to find out if they have seen any mist.

I LOVE exploring our cemetary, we recently caught an AMAZING orb pic, email me and I'll send it. ;) I can assure you it's NOT FAKE! We also caught a "man" looking at us and walking, but we aren't quite sure about that yet. My email is Holly123210@hotmail.com

question~
I am a photographer who just joined a team. I am mostly a nature photographer. I have several photographs of indoor/outdoor photos of weddings I have taken, indoor receptions with some pictures, such as one out of every event,I get a dark grey shadow on a subjects eyelid appears.Almost like a bruise.

Always the right eye. Some wear glasses, some don't. Lighting can be natural, controlled, dark surroundings, doesn't matter. And I always know the subject as a friend.

note~my past I came close to dying giving birth, healed quickly from 3rd degree burns on my face, arms and hands. Burned my cornea and sustained temporary blindness in a kitchen accident, and survived being rear ended by a semi truck flipping head over end 5 times in the air, and watched my husband "see the light" and was told to come back. These eyelid shadows never appeared until after the truck accident.

Any experienced thoughts of logic? I shoot with the canon 40 D.

Are these pictures taken at snyders, because I have been going there for years and would be interested in joining people nearby for an investigation.

I recently started taking pictures in cemeteries and have found orbs. A couple of the cemeteries are more than 200 years old. I took the pictures at night using a flash and a 12 meg digital camera and a very clean lens.

Are the orbs present 24/7 or only at night? What, if any, is the significance of the size and content? I have pictures of small and very large orbs — some with compact material and some very large orbs with diffuse material.

Hi there! This was a very compelling post. I am a writer for the Examiner.com and have my own paranormal column for the state of Pennsylvania and the North Eastern New England area. I also have my own paranormal website (my name is a link to it) and I was wondering if I could credit you and report on this post and photos. Let me know!

Ah. I've been there a couple times. Its at Moraine State Park right by the lake on a rocky hill – Snyder's Cemetery. It was on the most scary wooded dirt backroad I ever saw. Then to add to that, the entrance to the cemetery is terrifying looking – something out of a slasher movie. We got a few EVP's there and one interesting picture. You can see the picture by clicking on the link underneath my name.

One of the EVP's mentioned my name, which is a little worrisome.
