Vortex or Angel Photo from Tonya's Living Room?

Tonya sent me two photos (shown below), which she captured in her living room. Tonya thinks it looks like an angel in the photos. I admit, the image does seem to have wings—or at least the appearance of them. The first photo is very wide, and has several orbs too.
Here is the second photo Tonya took. I've cropped the photo to show the image better:
What do you think? Does it look like an angel to you? A vortex? A strange photo anomaly? Whatever it may be, it's a very interesting image.

Comments on Vortex or Angel Photo from Tonya's Living Room?
Thank you so much for putting my paranormal pics on.
We have been amazed in our home with lots of activity.
It looks like a reflection from an object below the frame of the photo. It could be a glass table top or, given the undulations it contains, a bowl of water.
Tonya - Thanks for sharing your photos with the community.
R Whitt - I like how you're thinking. However, there is no glass table in the room. Tonya will have to comment on the "bowl of water" idea—although I highly doubt she has a large bowl of water (several feet wide) sitting in her living room.
If you look at the clock on the shelf, ( top pic) you can see the shadow of the clock behind it. In my opinion, the is a reflection from somethine out of frame caused by the flash of the camera..
It looks like a reflection of water to the ceiling. The same effect happened in my old house in California. it was from the pool and it happened only in the afternoon.
Looks like a reflection from light or sunlight hitting water in something.
Looks cool though.
This appears to me to be a reflection through a detailed window from outside. When you find something like this, if you have the chance to go back to the location, or if you're still in the location, check around to where the light could be coming from, look around to see if you can match the shape that you captured and if you can't, good job: it may be paranormal but if you can prove it, keep trying because you'll find some proof eventually. 99% of what you find has a logical and human explanation, but that small percentage is what everyone is striving for. If you're not sure, it's not paranormal.
Morris – Your observation is spot on.
- The clock is casting a elongated upwards shadow which means that there is a definate light source coming from somewhere low and in front.
- The light can be seen shining into the crevices of the white closet door to the right.
- The light bends in multiple areas which tells us that the light source is being casted against the wall instead of being an independant energy source.
Sorry but I'm not convinced that what we are seeing in this picture is paranormal. What do you think?
I agree with Wayne and it appears to be a reflection. The biggest thing I noticed besides it bending with the creases in the wall etc is that it doesn't block out or cover the dark area's in the spaces between the door and moldings. If this was a shape or appariton it would overshadow everything behind it and it doesn't. It's casting light into the space between the closet door.
looks like the exact same shape as the picture frame on the shelf and probable is just a light reflection of the glass.
I think Derek's "pool" idea seems the most plausible. Tonya will have to comment on what she has outside/adjacent to her living room.
Looking at the left wing, it looks like it is sticking to the wall. like it is moving against the wall. it is a very interesting picture.
It is a reflection of light you can see the clocks shadow that proves what I am saying.
like some of the others said, it looks like a reflection of some sort. definately looks like a reflection off water.
It's a water Ghost
no angel, that's not anything like the ones in my dreams…theres no amazing colors.
definitely a reflection off a carved, bevelled, or angled glass object by a light source outside of the lens area.
This is a reflection of some kind. But you can clearly see in the first picture the clock on top of the dresser cast a shadow and breaks the reflection. But I can see how it can look paranormal, and maybe some things are difficult to see from a few pictures. Best of regards.. PS. sorry for my english. Im Danish so this isnt my born language.
It could even be a reflection from, say, a car window several feet outside a window… I do very much believe in angels though.
Interesting photo. This manifestation may or may not be connected with the orb images. But the forms appear to be very definite. I've had strange, ghostly images that appeared in photos.
I agree with the others that this looks like some sort of reflection. I've seen other photos with similar images. She should try taking additional photos from the same location with the same settings to see if she gets the same results. Thanks for sharing them!
I Agree the clock shows a shadow
Clearly a reflection of either glass or water. Notice how it follows the contours of the ceiling and walls. The image isn't floating in the air, it's on the surfaces themselves.
i think it looks like a water or glass reflection, but it does look cool.
I have no clue what the big wavy light really is, but what I noticed myself were tons of "orbs" everywhere. Both phenomena at once were also in some pictures I saw of a haunted orphanage that a friend of mine toured. However the pictures from the orphanage were done at night to avoid stray light.
the open doorway has a creepy face in it :(
The face looks like the spirit of an alien.
It looks like the reflection from a shiny object of some sort..mirror or picture frame?
Maybe it might have to do with the clock. But no one knows how old the clock is, and ghosts sometimes attach to old objects.
reflection. Water? Mirror? or Window?
This looks like the reflection from a book or binder with a plastic cover. You can see that it is a light reflection on the wall and not something in front of the wall by the way the shape bends with the contour of the wall. Whatever the reflective surface is, it does not need to be feet across, an 9" x 12" binder could easily create a reflection this big, given sufficient distant between the object and the wall.
I have seen my cell phone make a reflection on the wall that was over a foot across at a distance less than 15 feet.
