Ghost hunting is attracting big names, and famous authors.

Novelist Jodi Picoult became a ghost hunter for several months, and conducted research on paranormal activity for her book, entitled "Second Glance." Second Glance is about ghosts, love and second chances, and Jodi needed firsthand experience with the paranormal in order to write the book.
According to a recent news report:
"[Jodi] had the audience enthralled as she recounted the spine-chilling research she undertook for Second Glance, her book on ghosts, love and second chances. Her research not only took her ghost-hunting and to haunted houses, but also to a blot on American history, when she unearthed a shameful programme of “racial hygiene” in the 1920s, a subject she uses to great effect in the book."

My friend and I took an old tape recorder to a cementary to record voices. We got there at evening and left it there till dark. So, we went up to retrieve it at dark. My friend saw a dark figure and I seen a very light, made of light man standing over it. They followed us home, though we left the tape recorder because we were too busy running a quarter mile home. We were both scared to death. The next morning she was crying hysterically saying there was a man looking over me. It rained that morning and destroyed the tape. Can you tell me what this was?
