Clear Orbs and Video Footage from the Black Forest Haunting

Hi Darlene.  Yes, this is one place I would love to visit. 

I first heard about this case when I saw it on the Sightings TV show. I could not believe the multitude of faces that were photographed inside the mirror. They absolutely sent a shiver down my spine. That is how my soul lets me know that a haunting is authentic. I feel it inside; even through the TV.

I am incredibly interested in this case and believe that it will serve to prove much proof to the skeptic community that life beyond this plane does exist.

Bethoc — Yes, the Black Forest Haunting is one of the strongest, most inexplicable hauntings. The source of the activity might be connected to the forest property itself. Bill Gibbens, an electromagnetics expert who specializes in exposing fraudulent hauntings, has returned several times to Steve Lee's house to trace the source of the projected energy. According to him, the energy is coming from a stationary source underneath the house. Regardless of what's causing the activity, it's certainly strong. And you're right—the activity could serve as proof for the skeptic community.

Funny.  I live probably 15 minutes from there and I've never been.  My roommate also spoke of this house and seeing the insane colored light beam shows from the street outside the property! (He has never even heard of the Lee House)  Another point of interest around Colorado Springs is the Gold Camp tunnels…CREEPY CHILD FINGERPRINTS AND OTHER SHIT!  Not to mention going up the trail to Pikes Peak was probably the most eerie thing I've ever done..Imagine what has gone on there!

My name is melissa, I have experienced lots of things in my apartment here in the UK!!  I have seen a huge orb with tails coming off it flying over my head.  I had to duck out of its way… I have had objects flying off the side.  My 6 year old son has had a few things happen in his room too.  Me and my hubbie are always seing smoke and experiencing suppressed energy and things go missing all the time.  It's such a shame as I love where I live, but the spirits that are in our home I think are not so happy.

Hi, my name is Serena and I have experienced things in my house.  I have seen things move without me doing it, and I have seen orbs.

I lived in a house for 17 years that was haunted by at least 3 maybe a fourth spirit and lived in fear during the last 3 years that I lived there when things began to really get "stronger" and almost an evil feel to the usually normal little pranks and interactions with our family and visitors.  I have never since been in a surrounding that made me as uneasy as my own old house.  I am curious as to why the last 3 years did it take a turn for the worse?  I do know that I had a friend who liked to provoke the older male spirit, though I told him repeatedly not too, and that would almost always get a response.  I still have family that lives there and my hubby and I are going to start doing investigations there and just want to make sure that we will be safe and what types of precautions should we take before beginning any work there?  Thank you.

Nicole — Provoking a spirit is usually a very bad idea.  It's possible that your friend's provocation caused the activity to become stronger.  Based on what you wrote, the activity does not sound unusual/dangerous.  However, if you're concerned, please read this article about ghost hunting protection, and take whatever steps you feel are necessary to protect yourself. 

The Lee's should contact TAPS and get them to investigate.  It sure would be interesting to see if they catch anything!

And the skeptics out there say orbs don't exist?!  They are merely nothing but earthly particles?!  O Tay Buckwheat!  Here's the proof right here!  How much more do they need?

I went here just last night. I have never heard of this place before and was very skeptical of it. I soon became a believer and here's why:

My friends took 2 pictures. The first was my friend eric taking a picture of tanner, then vice versa. The forest was completely dark with no lights around. In the first picture there were 50+ orbs floating around. In the second picture there was nothing. It couldn't have been smudge on the lens, because it would have shown up in both pictures.

I lived in the Black Forest for 2 years.  Never seen anything like this, BUT this whole area is creepy. I don't go out after dark unless I have to. I have seen shadows and heard things that aren't there—and our dog barks at nothing all the time, so I believe this whole thing. I believe that the whole area has some type of activity, just some are more sensitive and like the Lee's home has a higher amount of activity.

From where is this music? Very disturbing …

Max — Yes the music is rather disturbing. It seems whoever created the video has recently added music, which prevents you from hearing the documentary. I'll see if I can find a better version of the video.

Although the orb footage was a nice clip, it was not as interesting as other footage we obtained over a year and a half of shooting at that location. The several hundred photos and hundred hours of video I still have in archive were only a small part of the investigation. The really interesting part was the boxes of data collected from Radio frequency, seismographic and electromagnetic tests performed on the property combined with the rich history of the area made it a truly a unique investigation.

I owned a home in the Monument area which is not far from Black Forest. I have many pictures of hundreds of orbs around and inside the home. Photos of me surrounded as well. I never felt frightened!

i want to know of haunted places in colorado, so i can experience the greatness it releases. so if u know of any please let me and my friend know. Thx.
